The Chennai-based pharma major, Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd (Orchid) today announced that it has received tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for its drug Sumatriptan Succinate tablets.

Prescribed for the treatment of a migraine attack, this drug would be available in a tablet form in the strengths of 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg.
