The Bulk Drugs Plant at Aurangabad, acquired during the last quarter of the previous financial year, was taken up for modification and upgradation to produce non-Cephalosporins and has since been commissioned.
Extraordinary Items (*) include insurance claim pertaining to previous year received amounting to Rs. 116.67 lakhs and loss/ dimunition in value of investments (net of dividends) amounting to Rs. 246.39 lakhs.
Previous period figures have been regrouped wherever necessary.
The above financial results were taken on record by the Board at its meeting held on Tuesday, October 31, 2000.
